About me
Hi, my name is Bernd and I am passionate about health.
Not long ago, out of the blue, at 46 years, I suffered a sudden cardiac arrest and was clinically dead for 17 minutes.
CPR, a defibrillator and some amazing people saved my life … against all odds. At that time I was physically in great shape, not overweight, a non-smoker with normal cholesterol levels and I thought I consumed the right foods. This blog is my quest to prevent this from happening to others.
How do you stay healthy in todays fast paced world? Is there a diet that is perfect for YOU? Can you exercise to overcome cardiovascular disease? Can you REVERSE plaque? Here’s my bit of the DOs and DON’Ts to keep your heart, mind and spirit healthy.
“Love To Live Again” is my mantra to enjoy life one day at a time. Carpe Diem – seize the day and enjoy every second! I MEAN IT. No matter how bad it is, there’s a lesson to be learned in every experience and I promise … it will get better.
I am here for you to share about health, especially heart-health. The theories about its causes are ever changing and daunting. It’s the number 1 killer in the world. The list of preventative measures is well documented and they work. But it takes energy, focus and discipline to stick to healthy routines, especially after years of following the wrong principles (which I believe were the reasons for my sudden heart attack, despite ‘looking’ healthy).
I’m glad you’re here. Let’s get healthy together.
Believe in yourself,
anything is possible!
